Bayonetta will make her debut in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U in February, 2016.

You can check out Bayonetta in action in the trailer above, which came as part of the final Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U focused Nintendo Direct. She uses both her guns and hair-empowered wicked weave attacks to land combos on enemies. The umbra witch will have abilities from the Bayonetta games, including Witch Time activating counter-attack and a demon-summoning Infernal Climax attack, which acts as her Final Smash.

Bayonetta was selected by fans as a result of the Smash Bros. Ballot that allowed players to vote on any character they’d like to see battle it out in the Nintendo arena.  She was voted the number one most requested character both in the Europe and across the globe, in addition to placing in the top five in America among “realizable characters.” Apologies to everyone who voted for Goku.

According to the Nintendo Direct, Bayonetta will be one of the final DLC fighters for this iteration of Smash Bros, along with Fire Emblem: Fate‘s Corrin and Final Fantasy VII‘s Cloud. All three fighters will be getting their own amiibo as well.

Bayonetta will arrive alongside her own stage, the Umbra Clock Tower, which is modeled after the falling clock tower scene from the opening of the original Bayonetta.
