Bayonetta Joins The Cast of Anarchy Reigns

THE BUZZ: Platinum Games’ upcoming high-energy fighting game Anarchy Reigns will have a lot of colorful characters to select from—and now it’ll also feature the developer’s most familiar face.

EGM’s TAKE: Sure, this isn’t an announcement for Bayonetta 2—but until that hopeful day comes, at least it’s something!

Japanese video game magazine Famitsu has revealed this week that everyone’s favorite bespeckled witch Bayonetta will be joining the fight as a pre-order bonus. (No announcement yet how she’ll be handled for the Western versions.)

Bayonetta showing up in Anarchy Reigns is really not at all surprising, given how popular of a character she’s turned out to be for Platinum.
