It seems that the most recent batch of DLC for Darksiders II is causing issues for some players, and unfortunately, a fix has not yet arrived.

Over on the official Darksiders II community, a number of members have been talking about freezing issues found in the game’s Demon Lord Belial DLC. Unfortunately, not only do the issues crop up in the DLC itself, but some players are reporting that now even the main portion of Darksiders II has started suffering from random freezes.

The community thread was started by the Darksiders II community manager back on December 4th, but so far, no further announcement of a fix to these issues has yet come along. And—no doubt complicating things—we now all know that THQ has entered into the process of Chapter 11 bankruptcy. So, the question now is when-or, at worse, if—a fix will be coming along.

Until then, you might want to steer clear of the Demon Lord Belial DLC, or at least head over to the Darksiders II community forum and read more about the issues some are having.
