Final Fantasy

Square Enix’s limited ventures in film have always pushed CGI to new heights, and these recent reveals for the upcoming feature Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV make it clear the spin-off film will do so once again.

In the recent announcement from Square Enix, several characters were highlighted including the movie’s protagonist, the battlemage Nyx. Other characters include Lunafrena, the oracle; Drautos, the Kingsglaive general; Libertus, the stubborn and emotional best friend of Nyx; Luche, a quick-witted member of the Kingsglaive; and Crowe, a magic user. The character renders are absolutely gorgeous?even with the signature all-the-buckles look that Square Enix is so partial to.

If you haven’t seen the trailer for Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV yet, make sure to check out these characters in action below!

While no exact release date has been revealed, Kingsglaive is schedule to release digitally and on Blu-ray in 2016.
