After numerous leaks and rumors, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has decided to finally pull back the curtain on Lego DC Super-Villains.
The game lets players create their own unique villain and team up with a variety of DC Super-Villains as they play through an original story written in collaboration with DC.
In Lego DC Super-Villains the Justice League has disappeared, leaving Earth’s protection to a new group of heroes from a parallel universe who call themselves the “Justice Syndicate.” However, various DC super-villains soon discover that these new heroes may not be as good as they claim to be and team up to take them down.
“Lego DC Super-Villains provides players a fun and humorous way to cause mischief by unleashing their DC Super-Villain’s sinister powers and amusing abilities,” Tom Stone, managing director of TT Games, said. “With an unprecedented amount of customization options to choose from, players can create and customize their character at the start of the story, unlocking new powers and abilities as they progress through the funniest Lego game to date.”
A physical Deluxe Edition of the game is available to pre-order now that contains an exclusive Lex Luthor Superman Lego minifigure, the season pass, and early access to the DC Super-Villains: TV Series DLC Character Pack. A Digital version of the Deluxe Edition is also available that swaps the minifigure for the Justice League Dark DLC Character Pack.
Lego DC Super-Villains launches October 16th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
