Bethesda Hard at Work on Patch for Skyrim

THE BUZZ: For the millions out there who are now engrossed in the adventures of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, some are wondering if fixes will be coming soon for the various issues that have been uncovered in the game.

Today, VP of PR and marketing for Bethesda Pete Hines had a quick comment about that, and his company’s efforts to get things patched up:

“We are continuing to work on an update for all platforms to address issues any bugs and perf issues we can. We will fix as much as we can for your platform. I don’t know if it will fix ‘your’ bug. Takes a while to test/fix/regress. Hang in there.”

EGM’s TAKE: While I’ve not played Skyrim yet myself (will be doing so shortly when I have a bit more free time), I’ve heard of a handful of issues people are having—including the texture issue that seems to be occurring in both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game.
