Bethesda lets fans vote on alternate The Evil Within case art

Videogame box art certainly has gotten better since the 16-bit days, but there’s always room for more artistic, stylized alternate covers—which is exactly what Bethesda and Tango Gameworks have in mind for The Evil Within.

On the official Bethesda Blog, the publisher is currently running a competition where fans of the game (or fans of cover art) can choose between three alternate covers. The winner will be featured as a reversible cover on the back of the game’s main cover, and while all three are pretty cool, I definitely have my own personal favorite. (I don’t want to influence voting or anything, but a quick glance over this news posting should give you a hint as to my choice.)

You can see the three options up for voting below. If you’d like to give your own $0.02 on the matter, hit the link below to check out the Bethesda Blog post, and enter your vote via the poll that’s embedded in the page’s right-hand column.

Shinji Mikami’s next journey into the world of survival-horror, The Evil Within hits for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 14th.
