Following a week of teasing, Bethesda has finally announced that Shinji Mikami’s studio Tango Gameworks is working on new survival horror title, The Evil Within.

The game is currently slated to release 2014 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and next generation consoles, with Bethesda promising to reveal more about the game on Monday, April 22.

“We’re incredibly proud to announce The Evil Within,” says Mikami, who created Resident Evil back in 1996. “My team and I are committed to creating an exciting new franchise, providing fans the perfect blend of horror and action.”

The official live-action reveal trailer for the game can be found below (via IGN) and features a guy with a square head and a massive hammer, a big man covered in glass, and a very angry-looking, multi-armed woman.
