Bethesda: Skyrim PS3 DLC Performance Isn’t Good Enough

Bethesda has no new information to share about either the Dawnguard or Hearthfire DLC packs for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, stating that the performance of them just isn’t good enough on the console.
“I don’t have any info on Hearthfire, Dawnguard, or DLC in general for PS3. We’re still on it. Will share update when I have one,” said Bethesda’s VP of PR and marketing Pete Hines. “The [DLC's] performance isn’t good enough in all cases,” he explained. “For most folks, it’d be fine. For some, it wouldn’t be.”
PlayStation 3 fans are starting to give up hope of ever seeing the Skyrim DLC released since both DLC packs are now available on both PC and Xbox 360. Hines also responded to suggestions that Bethesda was blaming the PlayStation 3 for the poor performance, “We’ve never blamed anyone or anything. It’s our problem, and it’s on us to solve it.”
So it looks like PlayStation 3 fans are just going to have to wait patiently.
