Fallout

Bethesda Games Studios’ obsession with the apocalypse may have gotten the best of the developer, as the studio appears to be planning a mass invasion of Vault Boys upon the world.

In a recent post on Twitter, Bethesda teased that a Vault Boy assault on our hometowns would begin with the commencement of the upcoming QuakeCon 2018. We figured there would be a new Fallout 76 reveal dropping at the event, in addition to the multiplayer beta details confirmed to be at the show, but that won’t mean much if we don’t survive this onslaught of Vault Boys.

Assuming any of us see another sunrise following the start of this year’s QuakeCon, the event will run from August 9th to August 12th. Another reveal we hope we live to see is the first gameplay for Doom Eternal, and someone should hit up the game’s Space Marine to see if he can help us fight off these Vault Boys.

Fallout 76 is slated to launch November 14th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Nick didn’t start gaming until mid-2006. Once his parents finally allowed a console into the house, it was all uphill from there. Starting out with a PS2, he grew an affinity for Sony consoles and moved on to the PS3, and now the PS4. He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808

Bethesda teases a different kind of apocalypse on Twitter

We're not exactly sure what the Fallout studio is threatening here, but we're pretty sure you're going to want to lock your doors.
