Bethesda will unveil a new survival horror title by Shinji Mikami’s studio Tango GameWorks tomorrow.
Codenamed “Zwei,” the game is the subject of Bethesda’s recent series of mysterious Vine videos, which started with shots of barbed wires, a spinning record, sheet music, sunflowers burning while a mysterious man looks on, and ended today with a low-angled shot of a window near which spiky shadows dance on a wall.
Shinji Mikami is best known for his work at Capcom, where he created Resident Evil. After Resident Evil 4, he left Capcom in 2004 to work for clover Studio and surprised development of God Hand. In 2007, Mikami left Clover Studio and joined Platinum Games, where he created Vanquish. Mikami formed Tango GameWorks in 2010. This Project, “Zwei,” will be the studio’s first title.
Bethesda will unveil Mikami’s new survival horror game on IGN by way of teaser trailer, which is scheduled for 5AM PT/8AM ET.
