After increasing pressure from the community, Bethesda has finally caved and offered to send out canvas bags to anyone who bought Fallout 76‘s Power Armor Edition.

Following the initial release of Fallout 76, purchasers of the Power Armor Edition quickly realized that the canvas bag explicitly advertised as part of the edition had been replaced with cheap nylon versions. When unhappy customers contacted Bethesda about the discrepancy, the publisher claimed that it lacked the materials necessary to offer the advertised version of the bag, which turned the backlash into an uproar.

In an attempt to save face, Bethesda tried offering Atom currency to those that purchased the special edition, but this did nothing to stem the community’s contention. With no other way out, Bethesda announced on Twitter yesterday that the studio is finalizing manufacturing plans for canvas bags. Anyone who got the Power Armor Edition can get ensure they’ll get a new bag once they’re ready by submitting their ticket before the end of January.

As for fans’ countless issues with the game itself, Fallout 76‘s latest update dropped today, December 4th, finally increasing the game’s stash size.
