Beyond: Two Souls Dev Has ‘Next Three Games in Mind’
Posted on February 13, 2013 AT 11:23am

During an interview with GamesIndustry International at DICE 2013, Quantic Dream studio head David Cage revealed that he already has his next few games in mind.
“I actually have probably my next three games in mind. Although I’m full speed on Beyond, I know what I’m doing after it because it’s already in development,” Cage told GamesIndustry. “And I know what I’m doing after that and it probably after that. It’s great because I have more ideas than I can develop.”
For Cage, new ideas “come naturally” to him—he doesn’t operate with tunnel vision. Often, while working on one game, the seeds for his next game start forming, making it a seamless transition from one project to the setart of the next.
“It gives time to ideas really to evolve and to come to a moment where they’re ready to be written,” he said. “So it’s not like I just finished Beyond—’oh my God, what am I going to do with the next idea?’ No, it’s something that’s matured for a very long time. That definitely helps a lot.”
Beyond: Two Souls is expected to release exclusively on PS3 sometime this year, sooner than later.
