BioShock

Both BioShock and BioShock 2 run smoother thanks to Xbox One backward compatibility.

Giving even more reason to celebrate the BioShock trilogy joining the lineup of backward compatible titles, the first two games have been found to run better than before. As revealed by DigitalFoundry, by flipping the switch to “Unlock Framerate,” both titles can run up to 60 FPS. This is thanks to the much stronger processing power of the Xbox One. Now the underwater city looks even more beautiful (and scary) than ever before on console.

While you may find that the frame rate fluctuates depending on the environment, it’s a great way to play BioShock 1 and 2 if you own the Xbox 360 versions and don’t want to shell out for the remastered version.

This isn’t the first time a title has run better, with games like Halo: ReachCall of Duty 2, and Red Dead Redemption all showing improvements..

Now, would you kindly post your excitement in the comments below?
