Bioshock Infinite Suffers Hefty Delay

2K Games has announced that Bioshock Infinite will miss its October release date and will now launch in 2013.
The game has been moved back to February 26, 2013. ”When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing,” said Ken Levine, creative director at Irrational Games. ”Since then, we’ve uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even more extraordinary. Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February.”
Bioshock Infinite was one of the most highly anticipated games of 2012 so there’s bound to be a lot of sad fans. There are going to be a lot of long faces among the EGM staff today. At least we can find comfort in the knowledge that now the game will be even better when it finally releases.
