Bioshock Vita Put on Hold

THE BUZZ: The Bioshock game that was announced for the PlayStation Vita has been put on hold until Bioshock Infinite has been shipped.
Irrational Games boss Ken Levine told Wired that, ”these games really are all-consuming endeavors,” when asked if both games were being developed simultaneously.
“You do want to keep the ball rolling but it is tough to give it your full attention before you finish what you have. But we’re getting there with Infinite,” he added. ”We’re not as focused on the Vita game as we will be.”
EGM’s TAKE: There’s a lot of anticipation surrounding Bioshock Vita, however, it’s only right that Irrational takes its time and doesn’t try and develop both together. Cheapening both titles to get them out the door will only hurt the developer. It’s doing right by its games, and if that means us waiting until 2013 for Bioshock Vita then so be it.
