THE BUZZ: BioWare has announced plans to improve security on its upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic, that will effect users who registered before or on October 21st.
Users who are effected will be required to change their current passwords in compliance with new security measures the developer has put in place. Passwords must now be between eight and fifteen characters long, containing at least one upper-case letter, one lower-case letter, and one number. Emails will be sent out to users when the password reset takes place.
EGM’s TAKE: This is only a precaution on BioWare’s part and is a good thing for fans as it will ensure that their accounts are safe before the game’s launch.
