Mass Effect: Andromeda‘s planned multiplayer tech test has been cancelled, a recent blog post by developer BioWare has revealed.
“While we will have live multiplayer at PAX East, there will no longer be a multiplayer tech test for players at home,” the developer wrote. “Thank you to everyone who signed up. We look forward to seeing you in Andromeda.”
The original plan was to hold a multiplayer tech test on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, but it appears that players who signed up are out of luck.
Andromeda‘s multiplayer will be similar to Mass Effect 3‘s, but it will not tie into the story as much as its predecessor.
Yesterday, we got a look at 18 minutes of new gameplay footage that showed off one of PeeBee’s loyalty missions. Watch it here.
Mass Effect: Andromeda launches March 21st for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
