THE BUZZ: BioWare has released a new trailer for Mass Effect 3, introducing us to some of its all-star cast.

The cast includes: Martin Sheen who returns as the Illusive Man, Seth Green reprising his role as Joker, Keith David as David Anderson and Jennifer Hale who is the voice of the Female Commander Shepard. The trailer also introduces us to Tricia Helfer who will actually get a body as AI EDI, Jessica Chobot playing Dianna Allers and Freddie Prinze Jr. who takes up the role of James Vega.

EGM’s TAKE: That sounds more like a AAA blockbuster film line-up than a video game, which shows just how far the industry has come. I’m glad to see the return of Martin Sheen as the Illusive Man, as his voice acting was superb in the last game and the character as a whole is intriguing. Everybody knows that Mass Effect 3 is going to be a critically acclaimed success after the first two, there is pretty much no way that BioWare will screw it up. The only grey patch at the moment is the game’s multiplayer component, and all those worries should be cleared up once fans get their hands on the demo next month.
