BioWare San Francisco has been shut down, leading to between 25-30 redundancies, according to a new report.
According to Gamesradar, EA considered the studio to be too expensive and so made the decision to close it down. BioWare San Francisco worked on Dragon Age: Legends and the 2D version of Mirror’s Edge. The studio has operated under the BioWare name since 2011 and was originally called EA2D.
We wish the entire team the best of luck in the future.
