THE BUZZ: BioWare has announced that it plans to extend class stories in Star Wars: The Old Republic sooner rather than later.

The Old Republic lead PvP designer, Gabe Amatangelo, revealed that at the moment class storylines are unresolved.

“That’s a big thing and it’s something that will certainly, certainly be used in future story direction,” he explained. ”The decisions you make really matter, even the small ones.”

He mentions that a number of significant decisions in the Sith and Smuggler storylines, ”will certainly carry over into future stories.”

“The Class story arcs will be continued with future updates, future content packs and we’ll certainly be supporting both threads. Expect more, and expect it sooner than later,” he concluded.

EGM’s TAKE: Having only completed the Bounty Hunter storyline I can’t comment on the other classes, but I felt that the story kind of fizzled out at the end and was obviously set up to continue in some shape or form. There’s no dramatic ending, which means that the story can go anywhere from the last quest for each class. We look forward to seeing what the team will do with these epic stories.
