BioWare: ‘This Is Not The End For Mass Effect’

Posted on August 25, 2011 AT 06:45am

It would appear that after the Mass Effect trilogy concludes in March next year it won’t be the end of the franchise.

BioWare’s CEO Dr. Ray Musyka told Inside Xbox at Gamesocm;

“[With] Commander Shepard’s journey we always had the vision for a trilogy so yeah it was a story arc at the beginning but it’s evolved a little bit, you know we fine tuned it. But we also have a desire to continue the franchise afterwards, this is not the end of Mass Effect, this is the beginning of a new adventure as well. As a really satisfying end to the trilogy that players have been waiting for for a long time.”

So fans of the series need not threat come March 2012 as Mass Effect will be returning at some point in the future.

Are you happy that the franchise will continue or do you feel it should be left with a definitive ending? Let us know your thoughts below.
