BioWare to discuss the next Mass Effect at San Diego Comic-Con

Posted on July 15, 2014 AT 03:08am

Members of BioWare’s Edmonton and Montreal studios will be attending a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con later this month to discuss the next Mass Effect game.

According to a description of the panel, lead animator Carl Boulay, producers Fabrice Condominas and Mike Gamble, senior artist Noel Lukasewich and community manager Jessica Merizan will “share their experiences in shaping the next Mass Effect game with new possibilities while staying true to the critically acclaimed series.”

Back at E3 in June BioWare offered a behind-the-scenes look at the next Mass Effect, and also shared a few snippets of early concept footage for it. According to the developer, the story will move away from Commander Shepard, but will be set in the same universe as the original trilogy.

No official release date has been offered.
