BioWare Working On Mass Effect 3 Face Import Glitch
Posted on March 7, 2012 AT 06:42am
THE BUZZ: BioWare has announced that it is currently working on a fix for Mass Effect 3′s character import feature.
A large number of users have been complaining about reciving an error message stating that their Mass Effect 2 character’s face cannot be imported, when trying to load save files.
BioWare issued this statement:
“We are aware that some players are having issues importing the faces of characters from Mass Effect 1 or Mass Effect 2 into Mass Effect 3. The issue is likely in how faces were detected when imported from Mass Effect 1 into Mass Effect 2, and we’re working on the best way to correct it for affected players.”
EGM’s TAKE: Considering that the whole concept of Mass Effect is the ability to import your original character and carry on the story, this is not a good issue for BioWare. Hopefully they are aware of what is causing it and can fix it quickly before too many people get annoyed. The last thing any developer wants is angry fans shortly after launch day.
