The Black Desert open beta is now available on Xbox One.

The beta will be available to download and play until November 12th and includes the Berserker, Ranger, Sorceress, Warrior, Witch, and Wizard classes, as well as a level cap of 40.

“During the beta, you will be able to explore the regions of Balenos and Serendia. Explore the quaint town of Velia, or the bustling city of Heidel where you can pick up a wide range of goods from merchants,” developer Peal Abyss explains. “Every nook and cranny of these regions are available for you to adventure through.

“You will also be able to get a taste of nearly everything Black Desert has to offer, including most of the Life Skills that Black Desert is famous for. Gathering, processing, cooking, alchemy, training, fishing, trading and farming will all be available in the beta.”

In addition to the above, players will receive special character cards during the beta that can be redeemed for all kinds of items. These cards are also tied to a community challenge that will award players with a Tier-6 horse and a fishing costume for use during the beta. Finally, 100 percent completing each card will reward items in the full release.
