Black Ops 2 Double Weapon XP Event This Weekend on Xbox 360

Treyarch has announced that Xbox 360 players can enjoy double weapon XP in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 this weekend.

An updated message of the day states that the double XP will begin this Friday, February 1 at 10am PST and run until Monday, February 4 at 10am PST.

“Starting on Friday, Feb 1st (10 am/PST) and going through Monday, Feb 4th (10 am/PST) you will earn Double Weapon XP on all weapons. Double XP allows you to level up and unlock attachments at twice the usual rate.”

The message only appeared on the Xbox 360, so presumably PlayStation 3 and PC players will be offered the same deal once the Revolution DLC is released on those platforms.
