Black Ops 2 Free on Steam This Weekend, Double XP For All Platforms

Treyarch has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2‘s multiplayer component will be free-to-play this weekend on Steam and also announced that all platforms can enjoy some double XP goodness.
The developer announced that starting today at 10am PST players on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and even Wii U will get double the XP until February 25.
2xXP weekend starting this Friday 2/22 (10 am/PST) through Monday, 2/25 (10 am/PST) on 360, PS3, PC and Wii. You’re welcome.

On top of this, Steam will have Black Ops 2 on sale for $60.29, for those who get hooked while playing for free. The Deluxe Edition of the game is also available for $73.69, normally $109.99.
