Call of Duty Black Ops 2

Bookmakers Paddy Power and Ladbrokes have revealed their odds for this year’s Christmas number one in the U.K. and there’s no surprise at what’s leading the running.

Both firms have made Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 their favorite to take the top spot this year with Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes saying, “It would be one of the upsets of the year if Black Ops didn’t land the top spot this Christmas.” Last year’s number one spot was taken by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Based on the hype, pre-order numbers, and excitement surrounding this year’s Call of Duty entry there’s no way that it won’t be top of most people’s Christmas list this year, which should guarantee a top spot in the chart.
