Treyarch has released a new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 that adds a new playlist, new map variants, and more.
To start with, PlayStation 4 players can now access the Safeguard playlist. In this mode, the attacking team must escort a robot into enemy territory, while the defending team attempts to stop them. For players on all platforms, the Hardcore Nuketown, Mercenary Objective Moshpit, and Chaos Hardpoint playlists are now available.
In addition to the above, players on all platforms now have access to two new map variants: Seaside Sunset and Firing Range Night. These two map variants are free for all players and will remain in the map rotation indefinitely.
For Blackout players, the Bowie Knife is now available in Equipment Stashes and as Zombies-related drops on all platforms, and new character Missions to unlock Dempsey, Nikolai, Takeo, and Richtofen are live.
Finally, a number of stability improvements and bug fixes for Zombies are included. Read the full patch notes here.
