The latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 update brings Nuketown to non-PlayStation platforms, reworks the multiplayer scorestreak economy, and more.
Following its initial release on PlayStation 4, Nuketown is now live on Xbox One and PC (or will be shortly, in PC’s case), complete with featured playlists. A zombies location is also being added to Blackout’s Nuketown Island in celebration of the new map.
For all platforms, the multiplayer has seen a fair number of stability fixes, but even more significant are the changes to the game’s scorestreak rewards. Nine different scorestreaks have had their score requirements adjusted, and the score reward for all kills earned with scorestreaks has been reduced from 25 to 10, making it much harder to farm scorestreaks off of each other. Additionally, the game’s Care Package scorestreak has undergone some functional adjustments, reducing its potential for rolling high-level scorestreaks and increasing the accuracy and speed of its drop.
The update also has some good news for Zombies players, with over 70 crash fixes and improvements for the mode, adding to the comparable amount implemented in previous updates. Other improvements found in the latest update include buffs for select tactical rifles, various PC-exclusive tweaks, and more.
