A new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 trailer reveals the third and final Zombies map launching as part of the main game, which debuted in tandem with a developer interview breaking down what fans can expect from this year’s zombie killing.

The third Zombies map coming as part of Black Ops 4‘s day-one content is called Blood of the Dead, and while the map was titled at the full Black Ops 4 reveal, its teaser trailer didn’t give us much to work with. The latest trailer for the map confirms its setting and drops some major teases about the story that will transpire within it.

Unlike Black Ops 4‘s other two Zombies maps, Blood of the Dead will bring back Richtofen and the rest of the Primis gang, who are once again embroiled in some extradimensional shenanigans. We don’t learn the full breadth of the adventure’s narrative, but we do get an interesting tease about the history and/or fate of one of Black Ops II‘s zombie killing teams, the Victis crew. The end of the trailer also confirms that the map is set on Alcatraz, which many speculated from the original tease.

Accompanying the release of the trailer was a San Diego Comic-Con interview with the head of Treyarch’s Zombies mode, director Jason Blundell, which was posted to the official Activision blog. Blundell covered what Zombies fans have to look forward to in Black Ops 4 this fall, including the mode’s new customization options, the series’ new story direction, the new manual assignment of perk locations, and more.

The director also expanded upon the newly revealed Blood of the Dead map, and how it will fit into the story of the Primis survivors. Alcatraz was already a setting for a Zombies map in Black Ops II, similarly titled Mob of the Dead, and Blundell explained that Black Ops 4 will take the old map and step it up a notch. The new version of the map is approximately 30 percent bigger than the old one, according to Blundell, with new areas that were planned for- but ultimately cut from- the original map. Blundell additionally goes into the Classified bonus Zombies map coming in the game’s Black Ops Pass, which follows the narrative’s Ultimus crew and answers questions surrounding the strange one-off map Five from all the way back in the original Black Ops.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is slated to launch October 12th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Prior to the Blood of the Dead trailer, Black Ops 4‘s other two Zombies maps got some love in their own new trailer.
