Blacklight: Retribution’s PS4 version is gaining a new mode and two new maps today, developer Zombie Studios announced.

The new game mode, Onslaught, sees four players facing off against endless hordes of Infected. According to producer Kael Hammond, Onslaught requires players to “strategize and cooperate when building their loadouts in order to complete the challenges.”

The new maps, meanwhile, are Decay and Metro. Metro, as the name implies, is an abandoned subway, so expect firefights in narrow, tight spaces. Decay, on the other hand, is described as a “slum fortress set deep in the worst and most rundown area of the city.”

Today’s update also brings with it private servers, matchmaking improvements, and a handful of game optimizations based on player feedback.

Blacklight: Retribution is a free-to-play first-person shooter that was among the PS4’s launch library.
