Blizzard Accepting Applications for World of Warcraft Mentor Guilds
Posted on July 12, 2012 AT 09:00am

Blizzard is setting up a Guild Mentoring Program for World of Warcraft, to help new players reach end-game content more easily.
Any guild can volunteer to take on trainees and help them gear-up, while offering a friendly atmosphere for leveling. There’s two catches: First you must be willing to change your guild name, and second, you have to commit to the program for four months. The program is also limited to certain realms, and is only open to level six and above guilds.
This is a fantastic way to help new players gear up and join the community. It can be daunting entering an MMO this far into its lifecycle, and this program should make the whole process a lot more fun and simple. For more details on the program, or to sign-up, you can visit this link.
