Blizzard Performs Emergency Maintenance on Diablo III Servers

Blizzard was forced to perform emergency maintenance on its Diablo III servers yesterday in order to fix the many log-in and connection issues that players have been having since the game’s launch.
After the game’s launch, Blizzard’s servers crumbled under the weight of millions of people attempting to all log-in, taking the game offline for several hours. After finally getting things up and running players were greeted with error messages of connection issues, with the publisher saying it was working on server stability.
The following message was posted on the Diablo III Facebook page:
“Diablo III is now available for play. We will be continuing to monitor the servers for any additional issues. If you are experiencing errors, please visit the Technical Support Forum or the Bug Report Forum for additional information.”
So it appears that everything is now back to normal and fans can finally enjoy playing Diablo III – us included. The question is, do you plan to rush through and complete your first playthrough on normal, or savor the moment and take your time?
