A brand new original character is headed to Heroes of the Storm, and some players will get her for free.

As Blizzard revealed during the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2018, Heroes of the Storm‘s new character is named Orphea, and she’s daughter of The Raven Lord. As heir of the Raven Court, she carries a large shield on her back and is decked out in skull motifs. A new cinematic short explains her backstory.

Blizzard also teased one of Orphea’s new skins, a schoolgirl look where her tombstone is replaced with a locker. The Raven Lord has an accompanying skin as the school janitor, complete with a floating soap bar mount.

Both fans who attended BlizzCon and those who purchased Virtual Tickets will get Orphea for free, packaged in with their other digital goodies. Other players will have to buy her with gold like usual.

More details will emerge over the course of the weekend as BlizzCon moves to more in-depth panels on Heroes of the Storm and other games.
