Diablo

Blizzard Entertainment has begun work on a secret project set in the Diablo universe.

The hints at the new game, originally spotted by Blizzard fan-site BlizzPro, come from Blizzard’s Careers page, where there’s currently a post seeking candidates for a new game director position. According to the description, the new game director would be tasked with “lead[ing] the Diablo series into the future” and would need to “be the vision holder for the franchise.”

Blizzard is also currently hiring a software engineer, animator, senior animator, senior character artist, senior concept artist, and Senior VFX artist for an “unannounced project” in the Diablo universe, though since the project has no name, it’s impossible to tell whether or not these open positions are all for the same game. All are listed under the Diablo name, however.

To apply for any positions (or just snoop around on Blizzard’s site for more clues), head on over to Blizzard’s careers page.

Looks like Blizzard's action RPG series is going to stay a while. No word on whether it will listen.
