In celebration of the Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition launch next week, Gearbox Software will be hosting the Borderlands 2 $100,000 Loot Hunt.
Partnering with PlayStation, Turtle Beach, NVidia, and BradyGames, publisher 2K and developer Gearbox will be giving away prizes on a weekly basis starting next Friday, October 11, culminating in a grand prize of $50,000 cash. Weekly prizes total $50,000 altogether, along with prizes like a PlayStation Vita with a copy of Borderlands 2, custom Borderlands 2 headsets from Turtle Beach, an NVidia Shield with an original design, graphics cards from NVidia, and more.
Interested parties can sign up on the official Borderlands 2 Loot Hunt website by using their ShiFT account. After that, once the Loot Hunt begins, it’s a simple matter of logging on to Borderlands 2, finding the daily special loot drop, and completing Community Goals to unlock Community Rewards at the end of the week.
Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition launches on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 October 8. A PlayStation Vita version of Borderlands 2 is set to release sometime 2014.
