Borderlands 2 Also Getting Non-Season Pass DLC

Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford has confirmed that Borderlands 2 will be getting several pieces of DLC that are outside of the Season Pass content that has previously been detailed.

“We will have other, non-season pass related DLC. The stuff we’re planning and working on for the Campaign DLC Season Pass is big DLC stuff – more like the original Borderlands‘ Knoxx,” he told Kotaku. “Since we finished the game we’ve started with some new ideas that we expect will show up in DLC.”

“Some new vehicle types are on-deck,” he added.

So it appears that the Season Pass will only cover the larger expansion-type DLC releases, whereas all the other smaller drops will have to be purchased separately.
