THE BUZZ: Take-Two Interactive announced that the first-person shooting, loot hoarding, Borderlands 2 is coming to Japan this year. Accompanying the announcement, Take-Two also released a number of new screenshots to tide over itchy trigger fingers. While a solid date hasn’t been announced yet, nor has a proper rating, both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 owners in Japan will be able to play the game for themselves soon enough.
EGM’s TAKE: We can’t wait to kick up some dirt on Pandora all over again. Whether or not Borderlands 2’s role playing elements are enough to attract a Japanese market that has famously ignored first-person shooters is another story.
