Borderlands 2 Glitch Resetting Badass Token Collections

A number of Borderlands 2 players have lodged complaints regarding a glitch that resets their “Badass Token” Collection.

The error is affecting players across all platforms and sees their Badass Token count reset to zero, however all the previously unlocked challenges remain unlocked making it impossible to re-earn the tokens. If this wasn’t bad enough, all rewards purchased with the tokens have gone missing too.

“Thanks for all the reports and specific details, folks. Our engineers are looking into this, and the information you’ve provided has proven to be a great resource while we investigate,” said Gearbox community manager Chris Faylor on the game’s official forums. “At the moment, it seems to be a fairly rare issue and we’ll keep you updated on when we resolve it.”

It appears that the issue is being triggered by corrupt save files. You can check out a video of the glitch below.
