Gearbox Software has uploaded a Flash version of the Mechromancer’s skill tree, if you want to dabble around in the tag-team Borderlands 2 class. Is anyone else getting Real Steel vibes?

From the list of skills, it’s clear that you can branch Gaige out in two directions—heavy Deathtrap support, or quick-fire elements bonuses and otherwise stackable damage.

For the curious, you can tool around with all three sections of the skill tree right over here.

Originally, Gaige was supposed to ship as DLC a good two months after Borderlands 2‘s September 18th release date.

However, Gearbox is apparently good at staying efficient in the face of deadlines, and will hence be delivering the content a little bit sooner than planned.

If you pre-ordered Borderlands 2, the Mechromancer class is free. Everyone else—the non-faithful amongst you—will have to pay an extra 10 bucks in whatever digital currency’s required to get the DLC goods.
