Borderlands 2 to be Available from PSN at Launch

Sony has announced that Borderlands 2 will be available to download from the PlayStation Store on the same day as the retail version hits stores.

The game is available to pre-order on the Store right now in both the U.S. and Europe and can be pre-loaded to avoid waiting to play on release day. Borderlands 2 is scheduled to release September 18 in the U.S. and September 21 Europe on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
