Gearbox Software has announced that Borderlands 2 VR will be coming to PlayStation VR later this year.

“As soon as we brought the game to PS4 as part of The Handsome Collection in 2016, our brains immediately began cranking on how we could bring the experience to VR and take advantage of PS VR’s capabilities,” producer Brian Burleson wrote on the PlayStation Blog. “We all have spent years immersed in the world and these characters, so we were excited to utilize the PS VR to bring everyone in even deeper.”

The newest addition in Borderlands 2 VR is “BAMF Time” (BadAss Mega Fun Time), Gearbox’s take on bullet time. When activated, time will slow down, giving players time to plan their actions or dodge incoming bullets.

Along with BAMF Time, the VR version of the game features BAMF-modified skill trees, modified abilities for single-player, and the ability to drive vehicles in first-person.

Borderlands 2 VR launches December 14th for PlayStation VR.
