Square Enix’s Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is coming to North America in 2014, Nintendo announced today.
Bravely Default is described as the spiritual successor to Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes of Light, and is a more classic Square Enix JRPG experience with a job class and battle system similar to Final Fantasy 5’s.
JRPG enthusiasts have been clamoring for a western release of Bravely Default since the game hit Japanese shelves in October 2012.
Nintendo did not announce a specific release date for the 3DS title—just sometime 2014.
