If you’ve ever though that you could make a killer Mario level then the recently announced Mario Maker for Wii U is the tool for you.

The upcoming title will allow players to design their own side-scrolling levels, with the ability to swap between 8-bit Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. graphics on the fly. Players have the ability to place, move, and alter the height of green pipes, place enemies, move and place blocks, and add items such as coins, springs, and mushrooms.

It wasn’t confirmed if Mario Maker will be a full Wii U title or an eShop release, but what we do know is that it’s coming out in the first half of 2015.
