Crimson Days, Destiny‘s Valentine’s-themed event, will make its return in Destiny 2 next month, Bungie has confirmed.
Responding to a Reddit thread about the event, Destiny community manager Cozmo confirmed that it will return in Destiny 2, but there will be some changes.
“Crimson Days is coming back,” he wrote. “It won’t be the same as last time. We will talk about how it is changing in the blog update on Thursday.”
The thread in question contained details and images relating to the event found in Destiny 2‘s game files. According to the information, Crimson Days will offer a number of new emotes, ghost shells, ornaments, shaders, mods, transmat effects, and sparrows through new Crimson Days engrams. As well as these new items, Crimson Doubles, a Crucible match type from the original event, will also return. The mode split players into teams of two and offered a huge buff to a player if their teammate was downed.
As mentioned above, more information will be shared in the weekly update tomorrow, January 11th.
Destiny 2 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
