Bungie has officially confirmed that Project Destiny will be unveiled to the world this weekend, following the appearance of a teaser countdown.

“So, our game is called Destiny,” reads a message on the developer’s website. “In a matter of days, we’re going to give you your first glimpse into the vision and ambition that’s driving the creation of our brave new world.”

The developer offered a much clearer date on its Facebook page, “You can be the first to see the reveal of Destiny right here on Feb. 17 (T-Minus 5 days).”

As mentioned earlier, this week Bungie launched a mysterious countdown timer on its official site which many believed was connected to Destiny–turns out they were right.
