Bungie Reveals Destiny for PS4, Gives Brief In-Game Look
Posted on February 20, 2013 AT 06:44pm

Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg and Bungie co-founder Jason Jones made an appearance at tonight’s Sony PlayStation event to announce Destiny for PS4, bringing with them a brief, in-game look of their upcoming title.
Activision and Bungie’s baby is what they refer to as a “shared-world shooter”—a blend of persistent world, sandbox gameplay and a more focused, more streamlined online experience. According to the dev-pub duo, there will be no cross-platform interaction in Destiny.
It was also revealed during tonight’s event that the PS4 version of Destiny would receive exclusive content.
Destiny will release for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, the next Xbox console, and mobile devices (in a different capacity) sometime 2014.
