Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2013 Trailer Shows Off New Prowler A.I.

Activision pretty much rules the jungle year after year when it comes to hunting adventure games, including the newest 2013 installment. As seen in their latest trailer, even the animals are smarter.
Each sequel needs a hook, and this year, the developers are calling it “Prowler A.I.”—a new system that randomizes animal attacks so that they react different in each encounter.
We actually saw the system in action today during a San Francisco press event for Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2013, witnessing the dev team go through a battle with a pride of lions five different times.
As the sizzle reel below promises, each counter plays out differently if you approach it the same way, and it’s especially unique if you’re fighting animals that use advanced flanking and pincer tactics, like a pack of wolves. Check out the trailer below to see what we’re talking about, and tune in later to get a full preview.
