Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 Leaked, Watch This Video Before It’s Gone
Posted on September 8, 2012 AT 05:35pm
UPDATE: Official word from Activision PR says this “hack” is actually footage from a developer’s kit:
The video posted is from a development demo build, using developer tools meant for testing. The retail build was never accessed or compromised.
It’s hard to tell if the video is authentic, but Activision has been pulling this alleged Call of Duty: Black Ops II footage from most websites anyway. Maybe they just hate that awful dubstep music.
Originally posted by UK-based modder “iHc James” on his YouTube profile page (later taken down at Activision’s request), the clip below has been reappearing all over the place, showing off a team deathmatch round—although it’s not clear whether the other players are real people or pre-programmed bots.
Ironically, the first part of the teaser highlights Treyarch’s Mark Lamia talking about Black Ops II’s anti-cheat systems, a deliberate attempt to poke fun at Activision.
Self-professed ‘developer and designer’ iHc James is a serial Call of Duty hacker with a track record, having previously dropped various Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 DLC spoilers ahead of launch.
